Human Risk Reduction Services is led by Tim Southam. 

Tim is the Lead Principal Consultant, specialising in human factors, ergonomics and safety with extensive experience in public and private sector industries world-wide. 

Tim started life in electronic engineering designing aircraft electronic equipment migrating to piloting fast jets including the Jaguar and Tornado
in the Royal Air Force.

Tim retired as a Squadron Leader, moving into Human Factors Research at Farnborough and was involved in projects including human workload, helmet mounted display development, spatial awareness and cognitive visual processes. 

Since 1987 Tim has worked extensively in the international oil and gas industry, regularly working offshore evaluating drilling doghouse issues together with general Human Factors Engineering in control rooms and Human to Machine interfacing.
